TELEPHONE SYSTEM: We are very sorry if you have been experiencing problems contacting the surgery by telephone. Our phone system is part of a much larger NHS solution across Wirral and is integrated with other NHS services and sites e.g. St Catherine's Hospital, Victoria Central Hospital. Wirral NHS Community Trust is trying hard to find a solution so please bear with us. In the meantime you can contact us via our email at the top of this page, and continue to book appointments and order repeat prescriptions via our website. Please fill in a registration form for this service within the practice if you are interested.

SYSTEM UPGRADE: We would like to make you aware that the Surgery computer system is being upgraded at the end of the month (July 2014). Everything should run as normal until the evening of Wednesday 30th. The following day we will not be able to access records to print routine repeat prescriptions, so please allow an extra day or two if ordering that week.

The upgrade will affect online ordering of prescriptions and online booking of appointments on Thursday 31st July - Reception staff will still take bookings for 31/7 and 1/8, and for the following week - but these will be manually recorded and updated once we get the system back up and running on Friday 1st August.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but unfortunately it is a change that needs to be made urgently to keep our system running efficiently.

The Practice is based at Victoria Central Health Centre in very modern, purpose built premises designed to deliver the best for you, however retaining the best traditions of the family medical practice.  We aim to provide up-to-date medicine in a traditional manner, with accents on preventative care, family medicine and continuing care for patients with chronic illness.

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
